Greetings fam,
By now many of you have messaged me concerned if my Instagram account MEXICAN EXCELLENCE had been hacked or deleted by the company. I am happy to inform. you that I have made the decision to DELETE my instagram and am in the process of also deleting my facebook page. Reason? Data dignity. Over the years I have learned how free social media exploits and violates our privacy while making billions in sales based on our data. And to make matters worse, the algorithms create a false urgency and newsfeed that does not adhere to freedom of speech. In other words, the online world of social media is an illusion created by third parties that are mainly owned and directed by white supremacists who use all of our date for their economic and political diets.

For now, my work will continue on youtube and hopefully, an Indigenous network that is independent of third party monitoring.
Social media began as a beautiful and democratic approach but the exploitve aspect of it has quickly damaged its initial purpose.
